Diamonds are the perfect gift for every situation
By: Fantasia Vaccarelli

It’s a widely known saying that diamonds are a girl’s best
friend. While they may not be a girl’s best friend, women
do love diamonds.

No matter whether they are set in a ring or a necklace,
diamonds are spectacular. They can be worn for any
occasion and are the perfect accessory for every outfit.
Diamonds look wonderful when clustered with other gemstones,
as well.

One beautiful accessory is the tennis bracelet, a chain of
diamonds that looks wonderful on any woman’s wrist. Another
nice setting is several diamonds grouped together in a ring.
One popular style is the eternity ring, a ring with three
diamonds that represent the past, the present, and the
future.

Rubies and emeralds look stunning when paired with a
diamond. The extraordinary beauty of a diamond set with a
deep red ruby or the amazing green of an emerald is one that
is usually saved for special occasions. Settings with
rubies, diamonds and emeralds are usually worn for special
events.

The majority of young men will find themselves, at some
point, ready to buy a diamond engagement ring for the woman
he loves. When He reaches this point, he will need to know
something about diamonds before he makes his choice.

There are four key things to know about diamonds. The four
C’s are: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat.

The first C, Cut, describes how the shape of the diamond.
Among the most popular cuts are oval, heart, square, and
round shapes, as well as the princess cuts.

While most diamonds are thought of as clear, color refers to
the color of the stone. Diamonds can also be yellow or
pink.

Clarity describes the level of imperfections found in the
diamond. This means one diamond might not be as clear as
the next one. Some imperfections can be seen with the naked
eye, but most can only be seen with special equipment.
Certain imperfections can cause the sparkle you see when
light hits the diamond.

The size of a diamond is measured by carats. This is the
total weight of a diamond. The level of all these four
factors, combined, determines the prices and the better the
quality the more expensive the stone will be. The final
thing that must be considered is the setting.

The beauty of diamonds has made them popular with both men
and women, throughout history and throughout the world.
Diamonds make a perfect gift for every occasion and always
look great. Fantasia Vaccarelli is the webmaster and developer of Funny Diamonds, an elegant resource for loose diamonds, diamond jewelry, and more. For information, go to http://www.funnydiamonds.com/
